Highlights of the Leo forum
Forum Talk on 6th June 2009 (2nd Day)
The forum talk will be held on 6th June 2009 right after the opening ceremony with the theme of "Moving Forward… Youth of the New Era" by Mr. Leong A Sam. Sam, as he is fondly called, has many years of professional experience in various business activities and areas and is also a very active community service leader who has served in various capacities in business and voluntary organizations. Public Speaking Competition on 6th June 2009 (2nd Day)
a) Entry
i. To be eligible to compete in the 36th Multiple District 308 Leo Forum Public Speaking Competition, the contestant must be a Leo Club member from Multiple District 308 and registered as a participant of the 36th Multiple District 308 Leo Forum.
ii. All contestants must be registered
by 22nd May 2009, duly endorsed by and submitted through their respective District Chairperson for Leo Clubs.
iii. Only two participants will be selected from each District
b) Topics
i. The topic will be announced by the Multiple District 308 Council commiittee Chairperson for Leo Clubs 25th May2009.
ii. The speakers are allowed to talk about anything related to the topic without reference to politics, religion, sex or violence.
c) Prizes
i. The Champion will be awarded a trophy, cash prize up to RM 1000, a certificate.
ii. The second and third runners up will be awarded a cash prize of up to RM 750 & RM500 respectively, and certificates.
iii. The consolations will get up to RM100 and certificates.

Forum Fellowship Night on 5th June 2009 (1st Day)
